Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager in coordinating site execution activities which include carry out implementation, monitoring, delivery, site installation, inspection and handover (testing & commissioning) in accordance to planned project schedule & budget. Troubleshoot problem that arise during the execution of project.
- To liaise with all parties involved in the project including consultants, contractors/sub-contractors, clients, suppliers to ensure smooth progress of the project work
- To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plan, ISO procedures, instructions & etc.
- Inspect the contractor/sub-contractor works to ensure good workmanship and completed within planned time frame.
- Check requisite materials and materials received/delivered to site.
- Attend site meetings or discussion as required.
- Attend to customers’ complaints and to ensure defects rectified within time frame during installation & defect liability period.
- Ensure contractors’ site management in terms of cleanliness, tidiness, safety & etc.
- To prepare, update and compile all project related reports & documents including those in compliance with the ISO requirements.
- Ensure the Certificate of Practical Completion (CPC) or document of Inspection and Acceptance Form is in order upon completion of project, conduct customer satisfaction survey after issuance of CPC.
- Liaise with client/consultant and arrange for respective site inspection/factory acceptance tests.
- Involved in technical discussions with contractor/sub-contractor/supplier for additional/modification works and come out with corrective actions.
- Preparation & submission of interim progress payment claims.
- Assist the follow-up, gathering potential project information in the market
- Familiar with the use of the following applications:
– MS Office/MS Project/AutoCAD Tools - Work closely with Sales & Accounts Departments on project related issues.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a Degree in mechanical / chemical / environmental / civil engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in similar capacity.
- A responsible and reliable person.
- Team player with problem solving skills.
- Self motivated, independent and result oriented.
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia
- Proficiency in computer knowledge.
- Proficiency in Auto-CAD will be an added advantage.
- Possess own transport.
- Full-time position.
